McDan Group has named Lizzy-Ann Kwagbedzi as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective March 2026. Her elevation to the executive helm follows a highly impactful six-month tenure serving as the organization’s Consultant Chief Operating Officer responsible for Human Capital Development, during which she spearheaded key structural and operational enhancements across the group.
As a Chartered Management Consultant and Organisational Effectiveness Coach, Lizzy-Ann brings over a decade of executive leadership experience spanning Corporate Governance, Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR), Leadership Development, and Human Capital Strategy. Prior to joining McDan Group, she served with distinction as Deputy CEO at Gamey and Gamey Group, establishing an impressive track record in organizational restructuring, labor negotiations, and corporate transformation across West Africa and Europe.
A Track Record of Governance and Executive Leadership
Lizzy-Ann’s extensive background bridges strategic governance and hands-on operational management. She is a listed Mediator and Arbitrator on the roster of Ghana’s National Labour Commission, having led high-stakes labor and corporate negotiations for public institutions, private entities, and labor organizations.
Her leadership methodology integrates Emotional Intelligence, Transformational Coaching, and dispute resolution techniques to cultivate high-performance organizational cultures. Beyond her corporate roles, she serves as an Executive Coach for Africa Leadership University’s Centre for a ReImagined Africa in Rwanda and a Management Consultant for BERKHA Africa. She also facilitates executive training segments for GIMPA, the Cambridge Centre of Excellence (SPHRi certification candidates), and the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC).

Lizzy-Ann is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy at EUCLID University. She holds an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria (UK), a Professional Executive Master in Appropriate Dispute Resolution, and professional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA), and PULSE Corporate Trainer.
