This is a full-time on-site role for Dozer and Excavator Operators at McDan Group of Companies in Accra. The Operators will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as dozers and excavators. The day-to-day tasks include excavation, trenching, equipment maintenance etc

Experience in equipment operation, including operating dozers and excavators
Proficiency in excavation and trenching
Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance
Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Projects Manager to lead and oversee multiple projects within our group. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of new initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:

·        Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, tasks, and timelines.

·        Coordinate resources, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.

·        Ensure adherence to project schedules and adjust as needed.

  1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

·        Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·        Proactively address any obstacles or challenges that may impact project delivery.

·        Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status and risks.

  1. Budget Management:

·        Manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently.

§  Collaborate with finance teams to ensure financial compliance.

§  Monitor project costs and make data-driven decisions.

  1. Stakeholder Communication:

·        Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.

·        Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, and external partners.

·        Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.

5.      Quality Assurance and Documentation:

·        Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

·        Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.

·        Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of project management experience in diverse industries.

·        Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Professional Certification (PMP or similar) is a plus
