Dr. Daniel McKorley is a multiple award winning, entrepreneur, accomplished business leader, seasoned multidisciplinary expert and philanthropist, with over two decades of experience.
He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, a Ghanaian conglomerate that delivers a
broad spectrum of services in shipping and logistics, oil and gas, aviation, construction, salt mining, agribusiness, agro processing and private security services. The McDan Group has regional and global offices in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Equatorial
Guinea, China, UK and the USA.
Dr. McKorley holds a Diploma in Leadership from the Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA, BSc & MBA in Business
Administration and Entrepreneurship - Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration and an Honorary Doctorate
Degree by the Prestigious London Business School.
Lizzy-Ann Kwagbedzi is the Group Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies, where she leads the strategic transformation and sustainable growth of one of Africa's leading indigenous conglomerates. A Chartered Management Consultant, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Executive Leadership Coach, she brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, organisational transformation, operational excellence, and strategic leadership. She holds an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom, a Professional Executive Master's in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy. Prior to joining McDan Group, she served as Deputy CEO of Gamey and Gamey Group, and Country Director of Berkha Africa, a leading pan African Consortium advising governments, financial institutions, and multinational organisations across Africa. She has shaped policy, led complex business and labour negotiations, and built leadership capacity at the highest levels across West Africa and beyond.
